Skate Electric With a Motorized Skateboard From the Sidewalk to the Skating Park Do you enjoy skateboarding on a regular basis? If so, you’re in great company, because around 11 million people have shared that they enjoy this activity. Whether you’re a core skater that takes their board out 26 times or more a year, or a casual skater that goes out 1 to 25 times a year, you know how fun and exhilarating it can be. While 77.1% of all skaters are male, 23.9% are female. There are more male than female core skaters, however. A recent survey showed that 83.4% of core skaters are male, while 16.6% are female. This includes skateboarders of all ages, of course, from kids up to Millennials and older. When you’re looking for a new skateboard, do you go to a sporting goods store or a specialty shop? Just 3.1% of skateboards are purchased in sporting goods stores. The main reason for this is because 77% of skateboarders would rather shop for a specialty brand rather than the top mainstream brands that are available. It’s clear that specialty skateboard shoppers both appreciate and prefer the unique qualities and features of these boards. Do you have a favorite skate park where you ride and practice your tricks? Currently, there are around 500 skateboarding parks throughout the United States. If you’ve been at a skateboarding park recently, you may have seen a few skaters practicing Ollies. Did you know that the highest Ollie recorded to date was over a meter? That’s right! It was 45 inches high! Since you love to go skateboarding, have you taken a ride on an electric motorized skateboard yet? Just imagine cruising around the neighborhood with even more power under your feet! You can take your electric motorized skateboard to the skatepark or off-road with an all terrain electric skateboard. When you ride a powered skateboard, you can get from Point A to Point B faster, too. This can be a definite plus if you take your board to work or want to pick up a coffee from a local cafe. While you may already have several boards, why not add a new electric skateboard to your collection? You may discover that you’ll take it out more than your other boards.
